This robust beauty was born from two incredibly thick, heavy-duty Dutch blankets that were clearly built to last generations. One boasts the sweetest light blue flower pattern that feels like a gentle spring morning, while the other shows off a bold, graphic design in soft green — we couldn’t choose between them, so we used both to create something completely unique.
These blankets were woven and felted with such incredible craftsmanship that they’re practically armor against the cold. The wool is so thick and substantial that we didn’t need any lining at all — the original materials do all the heavy lifting (quite literally). Yes, this coat has some lovely weight to it, but that’s exactly what makes it your ultimate defense against proper winter weather.
The silhouette is beautifully straight and clean, closing invisibly with two discreet push buttons that let the gorgeous contrasting patterns do all the talking. Half light blue florals, half graphic green goodness — it’s like wearing a piece of Dutch textile history that’s been reimagined just for you.
Handmade with serious dedication in the Netherlands, where we definitely needed extra coffee breaks while wrestling with these wonderfully stubborn blankets.
