The Nipple Coat – Wool Blanket Coat x StitchMilk

Sometimes you make a beautiful, straight-fit wool coat from a vintage Dutch blanket and think “this is lovely.” And sometimes your embroidery friends at StitchMilk look at it and say “you know what this needs? Nipples.”

So here we are.

This off-white wool beauty started life as a cozy Dutch blanket before we transformed it into a coat with clean lines and that perfect straight fit. Then StitchMilk came in and embroidered two delicate nipples exactly where they’d naturally be, turning something classic into something wonderfully cheeky.

It’s sophisticated. It’s funny. It’s both at the same time, which is honestly our favorite kind of thing.

The fit is true to size with a straight silhouette — if you want that oversized feel, we’d say size up. The wool has that soft, lived-in quality that only vintage blankets can offer.

Fair warning: this coat makes people do a double-take, then smile. Possibly the best reaction you can hope for from a piece of clothing.
