This gorgeous frog green beauty started life carrying letters and packages across continents as Deutsche Bundespost airmail bags — imagine all the love letters and postcards that traveled in these before they became your coat!

Since airmail bags need to stay lightweight, we knew this material needed help becoming proper outerwear. So we gave it the full treatment — a complete lining in smooth black satin cotton that transforms those thin postal materials into something beautifully substantial.

We went a bit dramatic with the collar (because why not?) and kept the fit generously oversized for that effortlessly cool, borrowed-from-someone-stylish look. Perfect for in-between seasons — those unpredictable spring days or crisp autumn mornings — but probably not your go-to for serious winter adventures.

Since these bags traveled the world carrying precious cargo, you might spot tiny signs of their postal adventures, but those are just proof of stories collected along the way.

Handmade in the Netherlands, where we apparently can't resist turning mail into fashion.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are not happy with your purchase it is of course no problem to return it. Please return your item within 14 days of receipt. The return address is:StudioWunderbar, Relweg 4, 1949 ED Wijk aan Zee, The Netherlands.

You will have to cover the cost of return shipping.

All items must be returned new and unused in their original packaging.

Items that are damaged, used or soiled will not be accepted.

If you refuse the parcel and the parcel was shipped back to us, you will be charged €30. This amount will be deducted from the refund amount.

Refunds will be issued via the payment method used at the time of placing your order.

For exchanges, you will be charged the cost of shipping for the new item.

Once we received and accept your return in good condition we will proceed to refund the amount of purchase as soon as possible.
Shipping & Import Duties

Orders that are being shipped outside of the European Union will be billed local VATand may be subject to additional handling charges upon delivery. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot tell you what the extra costs would be, as VAT and import duties vary widely from country to country.
